PARENT HELPERS

Little Athletics Nunawading is a non profit organisation that relies on the assistance of parents to operate.  

To successfully operate the Little Athletics program on a weekly basis (which often involves over 300 athletes participating at one time), we require ALL parents to help out with the running of events. Duty positions are very easy and assistance is provided to those who are new or are unsure.  All parents or representatives of an attending family must attend at least 7 duties per year for their child to be eligible to receive an end of season Trophy. ​If it is deemed that there are extenuating circumstances we may request the payment of an additional $50 duty levy fee.

 

Duty may include:

 

• Measuring jumps or throws

• Raking the long jump pits

• Assisting age group leaders

• Recording results

• Website maintenance

• Publicity

• Coaching assistance

• Key Officials (Event managers, Group Leaders & Starters)
